1. Are there any setup fees or similar costs for submitting Apps?

No. It’s free to sign up, submit Apps and let them distribute via our distribution network.

2. Can I submit free and paid Apps?

Yes, you can submit both free and paid Apps.

3. What’s the revenue share I get if I submit paid Apps?

We pay you 70% of the net receipts. Please refer to the Terms of Use for detailed clarification.

4. How do you pay out the revenue share?

We currently support bank transfer and PayPal. Please refer to the „Settings“ area in the self-service Web interface and the Terms of Use for detailed clarification.

5. When will I receive my money?

Your money will be transferred on the 15th of the subsequent month. Payments will only be made as soon as you're payouts have reached the minimum amount of EUR 200 and you have saved your payment credentials in your personal account in "Settings >> Account information". For more details please refer to our terms of service point 3. THE FINANCIAL TERMS

6. Can you give an easy explanation how my payout is calculated?

Enduser price without VAT - cost of/for channel = Payout to SYNAPSY * 70% (or other e.g. promotional percentage fixed with you) = Your Payout

7. How can I submit my App(s)?

Be sure, this is easy! :-) There are basically two quick & simple ways:
a)
if you have your App(s) live in Google Play™ you can claim this accounts Apps by going to Settings >> Claim Developer Account. Doing so, our system will add all your Apps you’ve live in Google Play to your SYNAPSY Publisher Interface with their meta data (images, descriptions,...) – the only thing you need to do is to upload your Apps’ .apk via Content >> manage content.
b)
if you have your App(s) live in Google Play™ you can claim this accounts Apps by going to Settings >> Claim Developer Account. Doing so, our system will add all your Apps you’ve live in Google Play to your SYNAPSY Publisher Interface with their meta data (images, descriptions,...) – the only thing you need to do is to upload your Apps’ .apk via Content >> manage content.

8. Is it required to assign my App(s) .apk(s) to certain devices/ do I need to make compatibility settings manually

No, you don’t need to do this. Right after uploading an .apk our system analyzes it automatically and detects which devices are able to properly work with your app – current and future ones, what means that once your App has been uploaded we will automatically expand the handset support of your App when new devices are entering the market.

9. Where can I save my bank account/ payment information?

You can do this in Settings >> Account Information.

10. Is it allowed to submit erotic / sensual Apps?

Yes, it’s allowed to submit erotic / sensual Apps but you have to assign such content to the category „Erotic“ only and we emphasize that such content can and will only offered through discovery channels that strictly allow it.

11. Can I also submit Apps for platforms other than Android?

Yes, of course but currently not via this interface but via XML based submissions. If you are interested please contact our content partner support via cp@synapsy.com.

12. How long does it take until my App is activated in discovery channels?

This usually takes few days only.

13. I’m not able to login to the interface even if I’ve registered before – what could be wrong?

Part of the registration process is to validate the email address of each person that signs up for our service. For this you should have received an email with an activation key – be sure to use it as mentioned in this email. In case you have not received this email please check your spam folder. If it’s not there as well, contact our content partner support via email to cp@synapsy.com please.

14. I have uploaded my Apps into Google Play already. Do you have tools to speed up my submission process in the SYNAPSY Publisher Interface?

Yes of course! Please simply login and go to Settings >> Claim Developer Account and follow the three simple steps explained on the page. After having this done you will find all of your Apps’ meta data (e.g. description texts, preview images,...) active in Google Play in the SYNAPSY Publisher Interface via Content >> manage content where the only thing you need to do is uploading the actual .apks.

15. Can I set up additional users with different user rights for my publisher account?

Yes, please go to Settings >> Users & Rights and click onto „Add new user“. There you can set up accounts for Submission Managers or Accounting Managers that have different pre-defined usage rights.

16. Is it possible to save different email addresses for different communication purposes?

Yes of course. In Settings >> Communication you are currently able to set different email addresses for „Technical“, „Payment“, „Support“ purposes and one „Default“ one.

17. I don’t see any downloads of my App(s) in Reports >> transactions/ statistic – what could be wrong?

First of all you should check if you have activated your App(s) already as only Apps that are activated by the Publisher can go live in the discovery channels. You can see this in Content >> manage content on the right hand side of an Apps’ row – if you see „InActive“ there you should change this to „Active“ please.

18. Do you have a file size limit?

Yes, but this limit is pretty high and we currently support the upload of files that have up to 100MB.
